How to play

Word of the day

Guess the word from the clue. Tap letters: correct ones reveal, wrong ones cost a life. 5 lives, one game a day.

Grid

Guess the word in 6 tries. After each guess: green = right spot, yellow = in the word but wrong spot, grey = not in the word.

Both languages

When a game ends we show you the same word in the other language, with its definition. Play in English, learn French — or the other way around.

Score

Win = 1000 points, plus a bonus for every life (or try) you have left, plus a speed bonus up to 300 (−1 per second). A flawless game is worth 2500 in either mode. Loss = 0.

Leaderboard

One ranking per mode and per language — today's and all-time. Sign in (or create an account) to appear on it.
